I bet that we all hear the words ‘recession’ and ‘lay off’ multiple times a day. In this tough economic situation many people are being kicked out of their jobs and it is becoming very difficult for both freshers and experienced people to find new jobs. Many people are trying hard to retain their current jobs and there are many friends in my college who graduate and struggle hard to get a job in the field of their choice. Once i completed in my undergrad i found a job with a leading consulting company. It was not very hard as the job market was in a big boom at that time and i also enrolled with a recruitment agency and it helped me a lot.
I submitted my resume and the agency distributed it to many companies where i was looked up as a potential candidate. The software system which was used by the agency was pretty neat and it eased out many hassles and made the task very simple. It also provided mobile updates so that i could be informed about any interview calls. It is always good to make use of such agencies because they will have a lot of contacts in the industry and it might be helpful in one form or the other.
